The Catholic Bishop of Yei urged Christians to grow in faith in order to strengthen the church.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe told churchgoers that it was not enough to grow in generosity, Radio Easter reported.He said the believers had also to deepen the faith.
The Bishop made the call on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
On Sunday almost 300 delegates started in the Vatican a three-week synod on the New Evangelization for the transmission of the faith.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
