Eastern Equatoria State Governor has endorsed the deal signed between South Sudan and Sudan and asked citizens to support the national leadership for its achievement.
Louis Lobong Lojore asked people to appreciate President Salva Kiir Mayardit and the negotiating team for the deal reached with Sudan.Mr Lobong said the agreements sparked a wide mediate debate on its pros and cons.
He said the agreement was like a farmer who had to negotiate with his neighbour a share on his harvest in order to be able to access the farm.
The Governor compared the agreement to a herdsman who has a cow to milk but needs to make a temporary contract with a neighbour to use its container in order to be able to bring the milk to the house to feed the children.
Governor Lobong was talking to the congregation at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Torit on Sunday.
