Information is power and it must be disseminated to develop the State of Central Equatoria.
The statement comes from high ranking officers commenting on the soon to be opened Central Equatoria Network or CEN.Housing and Physical Infrastructure Minister, Samuel Suba, told CRN that the company did a fantastic job to prepare the studios for CEN radio and TV.
He said the Central Equatoria radio and TV stations will connect the government with the people through information.
Mr Suba added that CEN is open to civil society organizations so that the government can know how they evaluate its performance.
Agriculture and Forestry Minister Michael Roberto Kenyi said the studios were very impressive and he could not wait to see the state TV and radio on air.
He added that information empowered people and the new media outlets were key for the development of the state.
Central Equatoria State Deputy Governor on Friday morning led the whole cabinet on a tour to inspect the progress on the CEN TV and radio stations.
The studios are in the compound of the state ministry of information.
