Church leaders need generous and open hearts to serve their flocks at all times.
This was the message Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro presented during the mass at the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference plenary assembly, on Monday morning.Archbishop Lukudu said bishops and priests need big hearts to be in a permanent state of mission.
The Archbishop of Juba said church leaders need a spirituality of service to be people for others.
Archbishop Lukudu explained that bishops and priests need to be told to be good and congratulated and encouraged for what they are.
He said the plenary assembly that concludes today was an occasion to renew the heart, the consecration and the mission of each participant.
Archbishop Lukudu advised all who participated in the plenary assembly to go back to their mission with an open heart and a generous spirit.
