The International Republican Institute (IRI) conducted a one day multi-party training on Wednesday in Yambio to share the results of a survey it conducted in the three states of Greater Equatoria between May and June.

IRI official Wani Saki Michael told Anisa Radio that the results of the poll show that the people of Greater Equatoria are very critical about the economy of the country.

He said the people of Western Equatoria show support to the state and national government, to the SPLM and the President of the Republic.

Mr Saki explained that the people of Western Equatoria are well informed about the Constituency Development Fund although the political parties criticized MPs for not doing enough to spread the word about the fund.

The IRI official said the political parties proposed another research on the concerns of illiterate people.

Mr Saki added that no political differences were raised up and everybody felt excited with the results interacting with one other.
