The Nile Eagles Football Club of Magwi County has beaten KK United of Kajo-Keji County three nil yesterday in a friendly match in Juba.
The Flying Eagles Captain, Edward Wily said after the match that his team was able to win after they stabilize their game, Bakhita Radio reported.Denis Jackson, KK United, popularly known as Wild Rats Captain, said his team played well but did not utilize the chances created.
He congratulated both teams for the success of the game.
Kajo-Keji County Youth Inspector, Ambus Christopher, said the match was purposely brought to Juba to show to the national ministry of sports and the national team that there are talented youth are outside Juba.
He lamented that Magwi and Kajo-Keji Counties are among the counties left out in the national tournaments.
Mr Christopher revealed that this is the first time his Wild Rats team lost to Flying Eagles of Nimule.
The friendly match was attended by hundreds of spectators from Juba and the accompanying fans from Kajo-Keji and Magwi Counties.
