BISHOP OF TORIT APPEALS FOR KAPOETA SCHOOLS IMPROVEMENT

The Catholic Bishop of Torit has appealed for the improvement of education in Greater Kapoeta, Eastern Equatoria.

Bishop Johnson Akio Mutek called for the active use of the schools in Kapoeta counties saying that they should not be left empty.

He encouraged parents to show love to their children by giving them good education for the future of the nation.

Bishop Akio thanked the Christians in Kapoeta for their continuous prayers towards his good health.

He made these statements during his pastoral visit to St. Mary Magdalene-Rwoto parish in Kapoeta North County

Bishop Akio visited the staff of Kapoeta Catholic Hospital accompanied by County Commissioner Martin Lorike Lojam to listen to them and discuss the way forward.

Last week, the bishop toured Kimotong.

Bishop Akio plans to visit Lowoi and Chukudum parishes.
