Western Equatoria government received 400,000 pounds for the construction of payam headquarters within the state and most buildings are ready.

Director General in the Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement Kazima told Anisa FM this morning that some buildings were completed and the payams who failed to implement the project shall not receive any other fund.

He explained the Government trained all the administrators to carry their duties effectively.

They should receive further training in Juba.

Mr Kazima said the ministry faces some challenges including lack of funds and qualified administrative officers in some payams.

He urged citizens to cooperate with their administrative officers and to be the eyes of the government in the payams and bomas.

Mr Kazima appealed to the public in Western Equatoria State to cooperate with the security personnel and the police in order to safeguard peace and security in the state.
