The chairman of the SPLM-North in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains said the movement is struggling since the start is to achieve quality education.
Younan Al-Barut added that the SPLM’s interest is to ensure that there is equal education for both boys and girls in Nuba Mountains.Mr Al-Barut said explained that the vision of the SPLM is to provide equal opportunity in education for boys and girls.
He lamented the lack of education opportunities.
The SPLM-North leader said some communities still undermine girl child education and do not value the contribution of women for development.
He added that the movement has not given up in pursuing girl-child education and it insists in mobilizing the community to send girls to school.
