Western Bahr El- Ghazal state ministry of education has cleaned its payroll from ghost workers and is using the money saved by the exercise to build a much needed hall and some offices.
The ministry announced that the new building will cost of 1,6 million pounds.Director for Planning and Budgeting John Samba Rabeh told Voice of Hope Radio that the ongoing construction is their own initiative.
Mr Samba said the building will have a hall for meetings and some offices.
He added that the ministry of education was very short of space.
Mr Samba said they have already 100,000 bricks ready and the walls of the building should be up by the end of April.
He appealed to partners to support the construction of the roof.
