Training on malaria prevention for government authorities and local chiefs has started today in Tonj town of Warrap State ahead of the rainy season.
World Vision area coordinator Florence Njoroge said the training aimed at creating awareness to eradicate malaria out of the whole state of Warrap, Don Bosco FM reported.She added that the local authorities are learning how to use mosquito nets to prevent malaria in order to pass the information to the communities.
The workshop was officially opened by Tonj South County Commissioner Akech Tong Aleu and it was attended by payam administrators and local chiefs.
