The population of Yei has grown and its demands for clean drinking water have also increased.
Yei River County Commissioner Elia Waiwai said the growing population of Yei needs more clean water to stay healthy.The commissioner thanked GIZ for implementing the Yei Water Corporation Project that is supplying clean water to some parts of the town.
Mr Waiwai made the remarks on Saturday evening during the visit the water national minister Paul Mayom Akec and his team made to Yei to see the facilities of the pilot project of Yei Water Corporation.
