The Central Prison of Tonj South County, in Warrap State, has received a new director from the state headquarters in Kuajok.
The new director Fedelis Majok replaced Fedrick Mayiik who was transferred to Kuajok Central Prison.Mr Majok said he plans to finish the prison office that is still under construction near the river.
He said inmates will have the possibility to learn farming, masonry and carpentry skills while serving their sentences.
Mr. Majok urged Tonj South County residents to assist him in the prison management.
He urged the residents to abide by the law.
The new Tonj Central prison director said the lack of a car affects transportation of prison forces to their respective areas of work.
