The Catholic bishop of Yei is to ordain a deacon and a priest on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral.
Yei diocese secretary general Emmanuel Sebit Ladu announced yesterday that bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe will ordain Deacon Philip Andruga to the priesthood and seminarian Mude Pascal Emmanuel to the deaconate, Radio Easter reported.Deacon Andruga is a Comboni Missionary and seminarian Mude belongs to the diocese of Yei.
Fr. Sebit urged Christians to pray for the two candidates in order for them to follow the example of Jesus the King.
Meanwhile, Bishop Lodu celebrates the silver jubilee of his episcopal ordination on November 27.
He was made a bishop in Khartoum on November 28, 1986.
The diocese of Yei celebrated 25 years of existence on March 21.
