Lainya County today called a meeting to forge a way forward to implement the 2010 Constituency Development Fund.
Lainya County press secretary Bullen Lugala told Radio Easter over the telephone that the Constituency Development Fund Chairman John Lemi said five payams of the county are expected to receive 250 thousand pounds each for the project proposed by the communities.He said that the contractors from the different companies have been called to sign their contracts to start the work immediately.
Mr Lugala said the County’s Engineer Rafael Tereka will accompany the contractors to the sites on Monday.
He added that the project has been endorsed by counsellors in the County and that the commissioner Soba Manase appreciated the Constituency Development Fund committee work.
