The Yei River County Women association has opened adult literacy school to give women a chance.
Sarah Natalino, who leads the association, told Easter Radio that it took a long period of struggle to have the school established.She added that the school is basically intended to fight illiteracy among women.
Mama Sarah said women never got a chance to study during the 21 years of civil war because they had to take care of their siblings and were busy with domestic activities.
She appealed to men in the county to give a chance to their wives to access this golden chance of education.
