The Governor of Eastern Equatoria as received the draft State Transitional Constitution yesterday after the committee finalised its work.
Clement Chichim Laku, who headed the Technical Constitution Drafting Committee, handed over the document to Governor Louis Lobong Lojore, Emmanuel Radio reported.He said although the work was delayed due to some unavoidable circumstances, the committee has successfully accomplished the work.
Governor Lobong congratulated the chairperson and his team, saying they had a rare historic assignment.
He told the committee that what they have done was a voluntary contribution to the people of Eastern Equatoria and of South Sudan at large.
