SOUTH SUDAN PEACE COMMISSION HOLDS CONFERENCE IN LAINYA

The South Sudan Peace Commission concluded today a three-day conference in Lainya County to bring unity among quarrelling communities.

Lainya County information officer Bullen Lugalla told Easter Radio over the phone that the deputy governor of Central Equatoria Manase Lomole Waya opened the conference.

Mr. Lomole urged the people of the county to be united in order for peace and development to prevail.

County commissioner Suba Manse urged the citizens to start with a new attitude and forget what happened in the past for the development of the area.

The conference that kicked off on Wednesday was attended by more than 400 people from five payams.
