St. Daniel Comboni was a spiritual liberator for Africans at a time when Africa was marginalized and avoided by religious leaders in Europe.
This was the message Steven Nyod, the head of Christ the King parish in Malakal, during the Comboni Day celebration, Voice of Love reported.He said St. Comboni sacrificed his life for the abandoned Africans.
Fr. Steven urged the people of South Sudan to continue preaching the Gospel to complete the dream and the mission of St. Comboni.
He added that St. Comboni is the Father of faith and the symbol of religious unity in South Sudan.
