Citizens of Nuba Mountains are still struggling with lack of fuel and spare parts and women have to grind grain by hand due to the conflict that affects the region since June.

The owner of a grinding machine in Sarbule community said he is running out of fuel, spare parts and engine oil to run his mill.

He added that women are grinding their flour by hand.

The mill owner explained that a jerry can of 20 litres of fuel cost 150 pounds and engine oil jumped to 200 pounds.

He urged the government to look into ways to solve the shortage of fuel in the state.
