The Catholic youth of Gidel parish in Nuba Mountains beat Hakima health students in two matches on Sunday.
Daniel Lokolo, a volleyball player, said the Catholic team defeated the Hakima institute students three nil.He added that in football the catholic boys won five-two against the health students.
The competition was organized by the Hakima Health Institute to improve the playing skill of their students in both football and volleyball.
Both matches took place at Gidel.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal. CRN has also a station in the Nuba Mountains. All the stations share the same vision and mission, and are bound by common editorial and administrative policies. For its outreach, CRN has a potential audience of about seven million people, considering the influx of returnees to South Sudan after the Sudan Population Census 2008.
