Eastern Equatoria State Parliament recommends the Assembly committee for health to continue investigating private clinics in Torit town.
The chairperson of committee of Health, Agnes Lox asked the Assembly to increase the terms of reference and time to a team set earlier to assess health service delivery by private clinics.Samira Louis headed the investigation committee discovered that drugs for government health service provision to the people of Eastern Equatoria were sold in private clinics in Torit town.
She added that the personnel working in the private clinics are nursing assistants did not qualify to serve as nurses.
