Upper Nile State is preparing a place to celebrate South Sudan independence at Malakal Stadium.
Deputy governor Andrea Maya said the venue will ready on time.He added that every southerner is excited that South Sudan is becoming an independent state.
Mr. Maya said preparations were going well because the civil societies erre working seriously.
He added that Malakal is safe now and there will be no security problem during the celebrations.
Mr. Maya added that people can walk the streets of Malakal up to midnight without any problem.
The Deputy Governor is the supervisor of the venue for the independence festival in Malakal.
