Twenty students graduated yesterday at Reconcile Peace Institute (RPI) in Yei River County on peace building and reconciliation studies.
The graduated students attended a three-month course on trauma healing, peace studies and conflict transformation, Easter Radio reported.RPI executive director Peter Tibi congratulated the students for their hard work and determination.
Rev. Tibi thanked the donors for their constant support for the institution and the instructors who came from abroad.
The executive director mentioned that the certificate given to the graduates should not be undermined, because it is recognized by a Zambian Ecumenical Foundation.
Rev. Tibi urged the graduates to put the knowledge into practice since the new nation needs peace building and reconciliation from the trauma of war.
The ceremony was attended by the government officials, church leaders and other people.
