The Agriculture Commissioner urged young people to engage in farming activities in Yei River County.
Edmond Taban Gogo told Radio Easter that most of the youth are spending their time playing cards instead of taking agriculture seriously.Mr. Gogo said 95 percent of the county’s economy comes from agriculture.
He called on the elders and chiefs to engage in cultivation in order to motivate young people.
Mr. Gogo said the people must be practical instead of talking in community gatherings.
The commissioner said people should engage in economically productive activities as the nation nears independence.
