A team of four trainers are in Torit to teach Church choirs and students the national anthem of the Republic of South Sudan.

Geoffrey Keji, the team leader, told Radio Emmanuel that the practice was well received at the first day of rehearsal.

He said people were interested and were able to learn the words and sing within short time.

Mr. Keji said the team and the Eastern Equatoria organizing committee have agreed that they will spend six days in Torit before heading to Kapoeta to train the locals there.

The practice is being organized at Our Lady of Assumption Church and Dr. John Garang Memorial School in Torit.
