Traders at Torit market are worried over repeated dumping of aborted fetuses into rubbish bins.
A team of traders found a fetus of about three months dumped in the garbage when they were cleaning the market in Torit Town, Emmanuel Radio reported.The Eastern Equatoria Civil Defense Director, Cyprian Odiongo, explained that the fetus was found wrapped up in a nylon bag, near Nyang and Sons and Lule lodges during cleaning up campaign.
He said people they interrogated from the area and people in the hotel identified one woman but she denied.
Col. Odiongo added that more investigation will ensue to catch the suspect.
Few weeks ago, a woman was arrested but later released after she was suspected to have aborted and dumped a fetus at the same place.
