Eastern Equatoria governor completed yesterday one year in office.
However, Louis Lobong Lojore told Emmanuel Radio that one year was not enough to measure his achievements, although much was done in the state during the last 12 months.Mr. Lobong singled out formation of the government, taking administration to the communities, infrastructure, security and roads among his achievements.
He added the government is building modern county secretariat offices and payam administration blocks across the state.
Mr. Lobong one year ago vowed to eliminate corruption in his time of office adding that the practice discourages development.
He promised to work with policymakers, local government, traditional authorities and the entire citizens in the state to fight tribalism and ensure peace in the region.
