The African Union handed over 25 rakes, nine packets of plastic gloves and 48 packets of plastic trash bags to the Mayor of Juba.
AU official Mashood Issaka said the donation which includes some soft drinks is part of the Union’s contribution for the KEEP JUBA CLEAN campaign.Juba Mayor Mohammed Alhaj Baballa thanked the AU for the donation saying that the equipments were very important for the cleaning of the city.
Mr. Alhaj appealed to Juba residents to join the weekly cleaning campaign every Saturday organized by GoSS health ministry.
