A survey kicked off last week in Tonj’s Wuan-alel residential area to relocate administrative buildings including the county offices.
Executive council officer Joseph Anei told Don Bosco FM that unsuccessful survey attempts were made by the former commissioners.Mr. Anei added that the area was peacefully evacuated prior to the survey.
The officer said that the county will relocate its headquarters and other government institutions to Wuan-alel residential area.
Mr. Joseph Anei urged people in the county to accept peacefully the survey and the county authorities’ plans.
He noted that the survey came after consultations with the state authorities.
