Voter registration for April’s state elections in South Kordofan concluded on Friday.
Daud Osman Lalo, who heads the electoral commission in Heiban County, told Voice of Peace that he expected more than 7000 to register in the nine centres of the area.Mr. Osman urged all registered voters to keep their cards safe until the election on April 9.
Mr. Osman explained that the citizens have to vote in the centres where they registered.
The electoral registration started on January 24 and ended in February 12 in Southern Kordofan State without incidents.
