An opposition leader called upon all South Sudanese to fight tribalism ahead of the July’s independence.
United Democratic Front chairman Peter Abdurrahman Sule told the press yesterday that his party called on all Southerners to confront tribalism without fear or shame, Bakhita Radio reported.Mr. Sule said his party will fight for the rule of law and multi-party governance for peace to prevail in the new South Sudan.
He added that his party will continue fighting for a Constitution that will bring democratic transformation and social justice in the South.
Mr. Sule made these statements yesterday while addressing the press on the UDF’s stand during the post-referendum period.
