A community based organization is conducting an assessment of all children with special needs in Greater Yei.

Hakim John Aseri, program coordinator from Hope Centre for Special Needs, told Easter Radio that the assessment aims at disclosing the number of children with disabilities to provide them with a place and some assistance.

Mr. Aseri said more than ten children have already come for assessment, adding that many do not know where his offices are located.

He added that his organization is targeting only children below the age of 18.

Mr. Aseri urged parent to take all children with disabilities to be registered, adding that the centre will help each child according to her needs.

The registration started on Monday and will end on Friday next week.
