A catholic charity organized a a three-day peace conference in Kapoeta County for representatives of communities in Eastern Equatoria, the state leadership and government advisers.
Eastern Equatoria Speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi told Emmanuel Radio that the conference organized by Catholic Relief Services is about rapid response to insecurity in the state.Mr. Ocholimo said the aims at finding the root causes of insecurity among the different communities in the state and come with some recommendations for the state government to be able to address the issues.
The advisor of peace and reconciliation, Muras Chacha together with the government advisor for security to represent the executive represent State governor Louis Lobong Lojore at the peace conference.
