Several assets belonging to the University of Juba are being held at Kosti, in North Sudan, an official said.
Vice Chancellor Agrey Abate told SCR News that the assets being transported from the Khartoum campus were not seized by the authorities.He added they were held up and the university was having problems to transport them to Juba.
Prof. Abate said there is a number of vehicles held up in Kosti
The Vice Chancellor said that the administration was trying to find out why the university’s assets were not allowed to be transported to Juba.
Prof. Abate added that the institution is trying to sort out the situation and for the assets to reach Juba.
The University of Juba is now officially relocated to its original headquarters in the capital of South Sudan.
