BAKHITA RADIO CELEBRATES FOUR YEARS OF OPERATIONS

Bakhita Radio celebrated yesterday four years of official broadcasting in Juba.

The celebration was attended by all Bakhita staff, friends, collaborators and well wishers.

The Directress of Bakhita Radio, Sister Cecilia Sierra, said the station brings peace and reconciliation among the communities in Greater Equatoria.

Sister Cecilia said that the anniversary gives Bakhita’s team the opportunity to assess the impact of their programs on the listeners

She added that the radio will take into considerations the needs of the communities and also improve its mission of evangelization.

Bakhita Radio 91 FM is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba.

It was the first station of the Sudan Catholic Radio Network to be on air.
