More than 25 thousand voters in Tonj South County cast their ballots in the first two days of the referendum. These are the numbers from 23 of the 28 polling centres.
Mr. Peter Mou, chairman of the referendum sub committee of Tonj South County, said he lacked information from the five remaining centres because they were far away, Don Bosco FM reported.Mr. Mou said he hoped to get information from the five centres by the end of the day.
Mr. Mou remarked that within the last three days no intimidation of voters was reported.
He added that the physically challenged people get priority and do not have to stand in line.
The county administration has given vehicles to transport the handicapped and old people to the polling centres.
Mr. Mou appealed to those who did not vote yet to come and exercise their civic right and duty.
There are four more days to vote in the referendum.
