The Sacred Heart Sisters blessed today their renovated house in Kator, Juba.

Mother Mary Daniel Abut, the superior general, told SCR News that the inauguration marked a new beginning to the sisters who live in the community and to the congregation.

Mother Abut added that the Kator house was the first to be fully renovated.

Mother Abut said two sisters in Kator community work in health, one in pastoral and another is struggling to build a home for street children.

Mother Abut said that GoSS president Salva Kiir Mayardit financed the renovation and the new furniture for the Kator community.

The Sacred Heart Sisters work mainly in the field of education although some are health officials and social workers.
