Twenty war widows graduated yesterday on tailoring and dress making after a six-month training in Eastern Equatoria state.

Lilly Acia Tobias, who represented the widows, lamented the lack of government’s support for the orphans, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Ms. Acia said the government should help war orphans and widows with scholarships, employment, business loans and the right to equal pay.

The 20 graduates who spent six months on training were from the eight counties of Eastern Equatoria.

Deputy governor Nartisio Loluke distributed the certificates to the new graduates.
