The SPLM dismissed allegations that there is insecurity in Jonglei and Northern Bahr-el Ghazal making the two states unprepared for the referendum.
SPLM Deputy Secretary General for Southern Sector, Anne Itto, told the press today in Juba that all the ten states of Southern Sudan were ready for the 2011 vote.Dr. Itto added that the ballot papers for the referendum vote would be in Juba and Khartoum between Wednesday and Thursday which added to the preparedness for a timely vote.
Dr. Itto called upon the agencies who have pledge to distribute the polling materials to the referendum centres to be ready and vigilant.
