A young Southern Sudanese girl prepared a video documentary explaining the root causes of the civil war in Sudan to educate the population on the importance of peace.

Luris Richard Mula, 23, a former judge, is the producer of Devine Mind. Now she has her second video ready. It is called “Transformative autonomy” and aims at inspiring and enabling southerners to make the right decision at the up coming referendum.

Ms Mula told journalists today that the video would be viewed tomorrow evening by a restricted group. On Saturday it will be shown to the public at Nyakuron Cultural Centre integrated into a special evening.

Ms Mula said the video was divided into seven segments, each one highlighting the search for identity.

She added that being a Judge did not allow her to express and share ideas with the people and she went into video making.

Ms Mula stressed that the main problem in South Sudan is lack of identity and self-belief.
