Eastern Equatoria ministry of Health announced that more than 284 thousand children were vaccinated against polio during a four-day campaign.
The vaccination sponsored by the World Health Organization and UNICEF started on Tuesday and concluded on Friday, Emmanuel Radio reported.The Expanded Programme for Immunization office in Eastern Equatoria state said 1,415 vaccinators were recruited for the activity supervised by 192 team leaders to ensure an adequate coverage of vaccination in the state.
