Senior civil servants are being trained to embrace good values instead of bad practices in office.
GoSS and State directors and senior inspectors are attending a two-day workshop in Juba to learn about performance procedures and the code of conduct to render better services.Rebecca Joshua Okuachi is GoSS Undersecretary in GoSS ministry of Labour and Public Services. She told journalists that the workshop aimed at preparing civil servants able to deliver effective and efficient public service without fear or favour.
Ms. Okuachi said that the participants would be taught specific topics including training and code of conduct to serve better the people of the region.
Ms. Okuachi said the training would be participatory to enable the participants share experiences, challenges and successes.
