EMPLOYEE’S JUSTICE CHAMBER COMMITED TO SAFEGUARD RIGHTS IN LAKES STATE

Employee’s Justice Chamber is committed to protect the judiciary workers’ rights in Lakes state by avoiding exploitation and ensuring the employees wellbeing.

Stepehen Madit Barach, Inspector of investigation at Southern Sudan Employees Justice Chamber in Juba, told journalists in Rumbek said his office was working to ensure that laws and rules were followed and workers were happy at their working places, Good News Radio reported.

Mr. Madit revealed that the Employee’s Justice Chamber was formed to hear the grievances from civil servants and process them.

He added that the Chamber has also to ensure the rule of law in South Sudan.

Mr. Madit cautioned civil servants against taking the law into their hands.

He urged them to follow legal procedures to settle their grievances though the Chamber.

Mr. Madit said he hoped an independent South Sudan would have proper laws in place to protect public service employees and strengthen the rule of law in the country.
