A SPLM official warned citizens to be careful of elements seeking to use financial influence to destabilize the referendum progress.

SPLM secretary for mobilization and administration in the southern Sector, Kanuto Ekebek Aham, told Emmanuel Radio that southerners should watch-out for so called voter card traders.

The SPLM official anticipated that others could pay registered voters not to go to the polls.

Mr. Ekebek asserted that citizens who accepted money to boycott the referendum vote were selling off their rights and betraying the citizens of Southern Sudan.

Mr. Ekebek advised Southerners to turn-up for the registration and voting to choose separation and avoid a repeat of history that caused millions to lose their lives.
