The National Congress Party (NCP) warned on Sunday it may not recognise the result of the referendum if problems with registering voters were not solved.
NCP official Rabie Abdelati said that the SPLM used means to pressure, threaten and terrorise southerners not to register in the north, Reuters reported.Mr. Abdelati stated that the referendum would not be free and fair and transparent.
He stressed that the NCP would not recognize the referendum outcome if the SPLM continued to intimidate southerners in order not to register in the north.
