Addressing the paricipants at the launch of Doing Business in southern Sudan this morning in Juba, Oyai Deng Ajak revealed that the private business sector in the region suffers from micro-economic political risk among other constraints.
Mr. Ajak explained that the private business sector is vital for the poverty alleviation across southern Sudan.
Mr. Ajak said the vision of his ministry is to create conducive environment for investors in southern Sudan and to equally compete internationally.
He praised the launch of the Doing Business in southern Sudan as a start of enabling environment to investors to achieving his vision.
The Doing Business Team is an exercise to determine how businesses in the country are managed and what laws govern them.
