The coalition is made up of ten civil society organizations based in south sudan.
Addressing the press during the launch Aguil De’Chut Deng representative of southern Sudan women General Association said the coalition will educate the people of south Sudan on the referendum, among other duties.
The coalition called the SPLM and the NCP to accelerate the processes of the referendum. The coalition called adequate implementation of the CPA, particularly on the formation and operation of Abyei referendum Commission and southern Sudan referendum commission.
It also urged SPLM and NCP and International communities to open ways for the exercise of popular consultation for the people of Abyei and southern Blue Nile.
Among the members of the coalition is My referendum for Freedom, Youth for Separation, southern Sudan Civil Education Organization and southern Sudan women General Association among others.
