South Sudan will go for a referendum on self-determination next year and choose either to separate from the north or to remain as a united country.
Archbishop Paulino Lokudu Loro was speaking this morning in Juba when passing his message on the Muslims’ Id-el Fitre-el Mubarack due to take place this week.
Archbishop Lokudu urged both Muslims and Christians in the country to create a more religious relationship among themselves.
He said secession of the south from the north would not divide the hearts of the faithful in the country.
Speaking at the same occasion Archbishop of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan, Daniel Deng congratulated the Muslims on the occasion of the feast of Id-el-Fitre-el Mubarack.
Archbishop Deng said Christians understand Islam as a religion of love and peace but only misinterpreted by individuals.
The Bishops were speaking in Juba a head of the Islamic feast of Id- el-Fitre el Mubarack that would take place this week.
