Gidel Parish priest and Fr Yohana Alamin presided over Eucharistic celebration of the feast of Jesus Christ the King on Sunday in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains.
Fr Yohana baptized 30 youths and gave the first Holy Communion to ten others, Voice of Peace reported.
Both priests congratulated the youths who got the Sacraments of Baptism and the Holy Communion.
In his homily, Fr Yohana described the readings as ‘nice’ as they touch every part of the people’s lives.
He explained that a good shepherd takes care of his sheep, but the sheep Jesus Christ meant are the people of the Church.
